Comedy actress Josephine Tewson, who appeared in TV sitcoms including ‘Keeping Up Appearances’ and ‘Last of the Summer Wine’, has died at the age of 91. She died two days ago (18th) and her birthday was last February.

I liked her characters and acting, of course, particularly in “Keeping Up Appearances” as long-suffering neighbour Elizabeth “Liz” Warden. I don’t watch a lot of British comedy from that period 1990+ onwards,, (and none after 2000 or so) but this one I did later on, as it is still funny and relevant today.
