Mark Consuelos, who married Kelly Ripa in 1996, told his wife on Live With Kelly & Mark that he would rather stay in a “loveless marriage” than get a divorce so that he can stay with their dog. “Let’s just put it this way: I would stay in a loveless marriage just to make sure I could be with Lena every day,” Consuelos said on the Aug. 11 episode of the morning talk show. “That’s how much I love Lena.” Laughing at the idea, Ripa—mom to kids Michael, 29, Lola, 25, and Joaquin, 23, with Consuelos—had her own take on their hypothetical divorce. “Is that all you’re asking for, is a loveless marriage?” she quipped. “Because that can be arranged. Done!”
