Jaishankar minced no words when UK Foreign Secretary tried to lecture India on Russian oil again.While she said that the UK won’t tell India what to do, she said that the UK as a country holds Ukraine’s interests above everything else. To this Jaishankar responded with facts, saying that Europe’s imports of Russian oil and gas in March were actually more than what they were in february. While this happened, US Deputy NSA Daleep Singh warned India on Russian oil, saying that Russia won’t come to India’s help if there is a clash with China at LAC. Its time we as a country hold the Indian interest first and not be shaken or impacted by the west trying to lecture us on things that are not their problem.
